Theresa and I got tired of our boys saying they were bored, so we hired them! Their mission was to come up with an inexpensive and fun family adventure. Then they had to make an instructional iMovie of less than one minute and post it on YouTube. So here you go. I'm So Bored Adventure #1...

Vino is Home!
After nearly a week of searching, craigslist ads, signs and even a story on Channel 6 News, a local family has been reunited with their beloved Boxer puppy, Vino. Vino went missing Tuesday, March 22nd and was marvelously returned Sunday, March 27th around 4pm. Neil, Lisa, Emma, Jett and Kate of the Palmer family would like to thank their community for the outpouring of help and concern and Jeff Powers of Channel 6 News. We are so delighted to see a happy ending to this story.

Go Nighthawks!
Del Norte Varsity Girls Lacrosse won the Silver Division Championship of the Surf, Sun, and Stix Invitational Lacrosse Tournament at Westview High School (in Overtime!). Five games, five big wins. Last year, DN JV won the JV Championship, so two years, two Championships...not too bad!
Go Nighthawks!!

Jonathan Franc
Do you know Franc?
We know Franc. Most of you probably know him as Frank Bossone. He and his amazing wife Patty as well as their kids live right here in 92127. Great people. After months of hearing about their exclusive international custom furniture business in Laguna Nigel, Theresa and I took the drive north.
It was amazing. Their furniture is a work of art. Frank's brother John Bossone designs the furniture and it is manufactured in both in the United States as well as other countries.
What sets their furniture apart is their designs, the quality and the art. Check out the desk in the picture below. It weighs over 400 lbs and the slab of lucite looks like it was curved by an over-sized giant. Put a deliciously beautiful wood desk on top and you have art.
The Bossone's furniture pieces are sold across the country for clients who simply want the best. They recently sold to a Hollywood producer and one of their large lucite dining room tables is being sent to a very high profile and famous sports athlete. Take a look at their website. Next time you see Frank cruising in his convertible in 4S Ranch, be sure to yell out, "I know Franc!"

Del Norte High School 1st Annual Pancake Breakfast
Del Norte High School 1st Annual Pancake Breakfast
Continuing the journey to create traditions at Del Norte High School, the first annual Pancake Breakfast will be held on Saturday April 30, 2011 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Breakfast is “all you can eat” pancakes, sausages, orange juice and Starbucks coffee.
Ticket prices are $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children under 8. Advance tickets may be purchased at event sponsors’ locations beginning April 1. Stop by Shay & Associates Realtor’s kiosk at 4s Ranch Village Retail Center or Pacific Trust Bank on 16536 Bernardo Center Drive. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate.
Although it’s the second year of the DNHS Lacrosse program, this is the first year for a varsity team, which is being coached by Karin Eddy and Caroline Yeatman; the JV team welcomes their new coach, Vicky Trinh.
Proceeds from this community event will benefit both DNHS Girls Lacrosse teams. The teams’ operating expenses are not supported by PUSD, so the program is funded directly by team members, as well as their fund raising efforts.
For more information about the event please contact Marika Szoke – marikamurch@gmail.com.
