Hat's off to OMWD and personnel working for Fence Corp for installing a new fence around the water reservoir located at Dove Canyon and Lone Quail. As seen in the first photograph, the heavy rains have filled the reservoir so full the previous fence was mostly under water, providing a tempting environment and hazard for children.
In a little over three weeks, over three thousand feet of a six foot fence topped with several strands of barbed was installed safeguarding the area. In case you were wondering, this recycled water is used to water the plants, open space and parks in 4S Ranch. It should be enough to last all summer. It is always great to see a County Agency to act proactively before tragedy strikes.
Good work OMWD!
