The OVMS Jazz Band (pictured) and Chamber Orchestra will be holding their 4th Annual Benefit Concert on Wednesday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. This is an amazing concert featuring student and faculty soloists, professional musicians and the combined OVMS Jazz Orchestra. OVMS Music Program has been the recipient of the Del Sur Community Grant for the last 3 years. They have also consistently received high marks at festival including Unanimous Superiors this April at the SCSBOA Poway Band and Orchestra Festival. Make sure to tune-in to KUSI on May 3rd to catch 3 live segments that they will be airing of the Benefit Concert’s dress rehearsal between 7:40am and 9:00 am. Pizza, drinks and baked goods will be sold before the concert starting at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, products donated from local businesses will be available via a silent auction.
