2011 4S Ranch-Del Sur Foundation Grant Recipients!
In case you were unable to attend the Grants Celebration on Friday, May 20. Here are your 2011-2012 Grant Recipients!!
- 4S Ranch Youth Soccer Association $5000Oak Valley Field Repair
The 4S Ranch Youth Soccer Association programs offer soccer fun and games to boys and girls starting at the age of three and up to the age of 18. 4SRYS will work with the Poway Unified School District to repair the Oak Valley Middle School soccer fields during the summer months. 4SRYS will use funds to perform the necessary repairs to make the field safe for all students who use the field (including P.E. classes at Oak Valley Middle School).
- Oak ValleyMiddle School Physical Education Fitness Room Upgrade $5000
The Oak Valley Middle School physical education department will use funds from 4SCF to expand and upgrade their workout/fitness room. Upgrading the fitness room will allow for more students to do weight and core training programs improving overall Fitnessgram test scores in the spring. The grant from 4SCF will be used to purchase imperative floor padding/flooring to cover the entire exercise area of the fitness room at Oak Valley Middle School.
- RSF Fire Department $2500Technology Expansion
The Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District have observed that many homeowners are unaware of their fire sprinkler system or don’t think about their fire protection systems. This project is intended to make it easier for homeowners to find the necessary information to keep their homes safe. Funds from 4SCF will be used to assist in the production and outreach of the home sprinkler education
project.
